A LESSON IN LAYERING
In autumn, as the weather gets a bit chillier, finding the right body temperature in the city is about as easy as pushing your way through the sea of people on the metro during rush hour. You’re either too hot, too cold, or you’re that uncomfortable mix of cold & sweaty!
The ability to add several layers of clothing while managing to feel comfortable, look effortless, AND most importantly, still flatter your figure is a coveted skill. Layering is not only practical, but also adds dimension & interest to an otherwise mundane look.
Big-time bloggers like Margret Zhang & celebrities like Mary Kate Olsen expertly layer multiple pieces in their beautifully curated photos, but they fail to teach us the how-to.
So, we’ve broken down the process for a lesson in layering.
Step 1: Start with the base; your favorite denim & a tank top.
Step 2: Add a fitted button down. (Inner layers should lie close to your body)
Step 3: Add a cozy sweatshirt.
Step 4: Layer with a cardigan.
Step 5: Add some texture with a faux fur vest.
