WINTER WHITES
This January, we’ll explore the (not-so) taboo of wearing winter whites!
Many people have this idea that white is a no-go in the winter months. We have less daylight, grey skies & most often in Shanghai, starless nights. People typically gravitate towards bundling themselves up in muted tones only further contributing to the seemingly darker world around us.
Someone, somewhere came up with the rule that white is only for spring & summer. But we argue that winter white is impactful, distinguished & sophisticated, especially during the chilly month of January, when it’s less expected!
Pairing white jeans & a silky cami on their own is obviously not conducive to the cold, however layering a long chunky sweater makes for a cozy winter look!
A white pencil skirt is not necessarily an exclusively casual or formal piece. Pair it with an oversized hoodie & over the knee [or thigh high] black boots & it makes for a cool & cozy winter white ensemble!
