OUTFIT BUILDING | Guided by Print

Colorful, printed accessories can be worn to spice things up when feeling a bit blah. But what if we worked in reverse & allowed ourselves to be guided by a print, rather than always pairing them w/our basic black or denim.
Inspiration can be found in unlikely places. Could be a painting, a printed pillowcase, or anything else that catches your eye.
Here, we’ve chosen a scarf & a hand painted coffee mug as our print-spiration.

Look #1:
We took navy high-waist shorts & a royal blue crop top as our backdrop, added a white jacket that’s taken from the white background in the scarf & injected the seemingly unexpected pairing of orange & neon green w/ the accessories.

Look #2:
Mirroring the pink mug, we used red & pink as the main colors of our look & featured pops of blue & green accessories.
Don’t be afraid to mix it up and allow yourself to find inspiration in unexpected places.
