Seasonal Recipe | Savory Chili to Warm the Soul

During these bitter cold & often-dreary winter days, there’s nothing like a hearty meal to warm you from the inside out!

One of my favorite recipes is a butternut squash chipotle chili (Follow the link here for cooking instructions & ingredients).

I like to make a big batch & put half in the freezer so I always have a homemade meal on hand ;) With a baby on the way, I wanna make sure I know what I’m putting in my body.

Much like my style, I prefer to add some of my own flair when I cook so while this can be served as a vegetarian dish, I like to add grass fed beef so it’s packed w/ protein & some sweet corn to cut through the spice of the chipotle. Then, I top it off w/ chopped jalapeno, avocado, some tortilla chips & cheeeeese! OINK! OINK!
